Emergency Dentistry FAQs

What can I expect at my emergency exam?

Our skilled team will assess the problem area and take X-rays, if necessary. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan for you and discuss your options for both dental repairs and payment. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed throughout the entire process!

How can I prepare for a dental emergency?

There are a few things you can keep handy to help eliminate panic if a dental emergency does arise. We recommend maintaining a dental-specific kit complete with dental floss, gauze, a small container, and your nearest emergency dentist’s contact information. Each of these items can help you minimize damage and get in contact with a professional quickly!

What should I do if my tooth is knocked out?

First, locate the tooth and very gently rinse it with water to clear any debris off of it. If possible, reinsert the tooth until you can get into our office. If you can’t do that, place the tooth in a small container with milk or water to preserve the root. In any case, contact our office immediately!

-These are a fantastic group of people. They are knowledgeable, caring and will accommodate the surroundings to your individual needs. I’ve had crowns placed and both were perfectly set. No problems at all. Everything was described in detail so that I understood how to take care of my crowns. I highly recommend the dental plan insurance. It saved me a lot of money and at the same time gave me options that were affordable for my family, too.
